Hey! My name is Sara Edenfield, but you can call me Eden, Sara, Emalee, or whatever suits you. I’m an illustrator who was born and raised in the hills of North Georgia. My mom was a school teacher who let me loose in the local library all the time. One of the most exciting things to do was to open a book and see what was inside. And by that I mean the art. Illustrators like Jan Brett got me really interested in imagery and how it can be used to bolster the written word. Or even how narrative art can be without words. I was drawing and obsessing over stories all the time until I decided to pursue art in college. And then forever.
When I'm not drawing, I'm working at my local coffee shop, going for a jog outdoors, watching my husband play video games, or bothering my cat.
I specialize in fantasy and nature illustration geared toward a variety of audiences. But I always love branching out and trying new things, so feel free to reach out for any projects you may need help with!
